WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN DEMENTIA

What is icst?

Individual Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (iCST) is a cognitive and psychosocial one to one intervention delivered by family carers, relatives of the person with dementia or health care professionals at their own homes, offering mentally stimulation and enjoyable activities to people with dementia.

It is based on the evidence-based group Cognitive Stimulation Therapy for people with mild to moderate dementia, which has been found to be beneficial for cognition and quality of life.
